Azure Synapse Pipeline / Data Factory

My level:

Azure Synapse Pipeline / Data Factory is used in many BI solutions as an engine for the jobs that need to be executed.

I have worked with this product since 2018. I have prepared BI frameworks with the product in focus and have also taught the product.

Azure SQL Server / Database

My level:

SQL Server, whether in Azure or as an On Premise installation, is almost never avoided in a BI solution.

I have worked with SQL server since version "SQL Server 8" from 2008. I know my T-SQL and scale databases up and down daily to minimize costs in various BI solutions.

Databricks

My level:

Databricks is a fantastic platform for BI and is perfect when the choice is a data lake as a BI solution.

Over the years, it has become more interesting in relation to both small and medium-sized companies.

Azure Synapse

My level:

Azure Synape is a collection of azure services used within BI.

Azure Synapse dedicated SQL Pool

My level:

Azyre Synapse dedicated SQL Pool is the Azure variant of the now old parallel data warehousing.

I have completed a project where this product was in focus so know its weaknesses and strengths very well.

Python

My level:

Python is the world's most widely used programming language.

I have been working with Python since 2017 and today Python is my favorite programming language. This website has been made with Python flask and pyodbc!

Analysis services

My level:

Today, Azure Analysis service is often used as a source for Power BI due to the fantastic response times and the ability to update your models/data marts without restrictions.

I have worked with analysis service since 2012 and in recent years only in "in memory" mode. I know how to implement security, use partitions and how to update only the tables that are wanted.

Power BI

My level:

Power BI is the visualization tool that is most widely used in Denmark today.

Azure DevOps

My level:

Azure DevOps is used as a project tool and source control.

I have been working with DevOps since 2020 and use it as my tool of choice for "source control" and project management.

Google BigQuery

My level:

BigQuery is a fantastic database with a super good performance and at the same time very attractive in terms of price.

I have completed a large project in which BigQuery played a central role.
